About
Under the Canopy is a calm, behind-the-shoulder foraging game set in a sunlit, semi-realistic 3D woodland. You follow your forager, basket in hand, along dirt paths through tall trees, ferns, grasses, fallen logs and patches of wildflowers.
The goal is simple and quietly educational: walk the woods, spot what grows there, and learn which forest ingredients are safe to pick and eat. Get close to something that catches your eye, press E to inspect it, and open your field guide with G whenever you want to check what you know.
Controls are straightforward on desktop: WASD to walk, Shift to run and the mouse to look around. Take your time, wander off the path and enjoy the light through the canopy.
A reminder from the game itself: this is a game, not a field guide. Never eat anything wild unless an expert has confirmed what it is.
