About
Royal Derby is a luxury thoroughbred racing game rendered in 3D. Your horse and a jockey in red and white silks stand on a polished, gold-ringed platform under spotlights, framed by dark curtains and marble floors.
On Race Day you pick from five events, each rated from one to five stars: Maiden Stakes, Silver Cup, Royal Handicap, Golden Derby and Imperial Crown. Every race lists its distance (800 m up to 2,000 m), purse ($40K up to $8M), entry fee ($1K up to $200K) and field rating range, so you can judge how your horse measures up before committing.
You start with a $50,000 bankroll and a horse called Copper Penny, rated 52. Enter a race you think you can win, or skip entering and simply bet on the outcome. Bigger races mean bigger purses, steeper entry fees and tougher fields.
