Planet X is a low-poly racing game with a chunky, pixelated look inspired by the PlayStation 1 era. Your career begins in the garage with a crimson 2006 Hyundai Tiburon, described in-game as a "crimson street coupe. Light, nimble and hungry."
You start with $0. Win races to earn cash and upgrade your ride. The garage lists the cars on offer: the Ford SVT Mustang Cobra for $6,000 and the Dodge Viper GTS for $18,000. Each car has its own stat panel covering top speed, acceleration, and handling, plus a listed top speed. The Tiburon tops out at 198 km/h.
Your current car sits on a rotating yellow display platform so you can check it out before you hit the big orange Race button.
