Windward Blade drops you onto a grassy plateau ringed by crumbling stone pillars, with rolling hills, scattered trees, and distant mountains stretching to the horizon. Play as a blue-cloaked hero carrying a sword and shield, and set out to clear the monster camps marked on your minimap.
Combat is the heart of the game. Chain attacks into a combo or hold to unleash a Spin Attack. Raise your shield and tap it just before a hit lands to Parry, or dodge at the last moment to trigger a Flurry Rush. Lock on to focus a target, and attack while falling to perform a Plunge Attack.
Movement is just as important. Sprint across open fields, jump from ledges, and deploy your paraglider in midair to drift over the landscape. Wooden crates and barrels dot the ruins, and a heart meter, rupee counter, and objective tracker keep you oriented.
Your goal: clear all three monster camps. Grab your blade and catch the wind.
