The Last Hue is a colour-noir mystery set in a city drained of every hue. Rain falls over cobblestone streets, dim streetlamps glow against grey tenements, and a lone pixel-art detective in a hat waits on the riverside promenade for the next case.
You play the detective whose job is to bring colour back. Take on cases, gather what witnesses tell you, search the scene for clues, and work through puzzles to uncover who is behind each crime. Every closed case is meant to return a lost hue to the world, so the city slowly repaints itself as your investigations progress.
The mood is melancholy noir: wet stone, empty windows, iron railings and dark water, all rendered in retro 2D pixel art. Press New Investigation and start piecing the world back together, one colour at a time.
