PIP and the Jamestown Trail is a free RPG made with AI by @mwalden, and you can play it right here in your browser.
You arrive in Virginia, 1607 as a student time traveler, stepping out of a glowing portal onto a grassy hillside. Below you, a wooden palisade fort and its buildings sit beside a wide river where tall ships are anchored, framed by autumn trees, dark pines and mossy rocks.
Your guide is PIP, a wise horned owl who speaks to you through dialogue panels, offering guidance and pointing you toward your next goal. A compass marker at the top of the screen shows the distance to your destination, and a Journal lets you look back on what you have learned along the way.
Built as an educational RPG inspired by the fourth-grade Virginia Studies SOL, PIP and the Jamestown Trail turns early colonial history into a hands-on journey. Explore the landscape in third-person 3D, listen to PIP and work through missions designed to help the history stick.
