Hearthfield GO drops you into a sunny, tile-based meadow as a straw-hatted farmer with 25 coins to your name. Leafy trees, blueberry bushes, grey boulders and ore-flecked rocks dot the grass, waiting to be harvested.
Get moving with the on-screen joystick and press the big hand button to interact with the world around you. A tutorial prompt starts you off simply: chop a tree, then build your first Farm Plot.
Progress is tracked across five skills shown along the top bar: woodcutting, mining, farming, building and trading, each starting at level 1. Quick-access buttons open your Bag, the Build menu, the Market and your Skills page, so you can manage resources, place structures and see how far you have grown.
With clean, simple 2D art and a relaxed pace, it is a gentle loop of exploring, gathering and building.
