Emberhold is a third-person survival and civilization game set in a wild, painterly valley at the edge of the frontier.

You wake with nothing. By day, you chop trees, mine stone, pick berries, and craft the first shelter from raw timber. You meet wandering survivors and welcome them into your camp, assigning them work — gatherer, farmer, guard — and watch pairs raise the next generation of villagers.

By night, the dark sends raiders against your hearth. Build walls, raise watchtowers, upgrade your weapons and gear, and stand with your villagers around the campfire. Each cleared night is harder than the last.
