Dungeon Ascension is an original action-adventure dungeon crawler. You are Veyra, an Emberblade Claimant bound by THE ASCENT — an ancient system that tests the worthy with Edicts: purge the brood, claim the Vault Sigil, break the Vexhulk, plunder the old hoard — then face Molvarr, the Sealed King.

Six hand-built chambers of torchlit stone form one complete run: the THRESHOLD, the BROOD HALL, the SIGIL VAULT, the WARDEN'S KEEP, the OLD HOARD, and the SEALED COURT — each sealed behind gates that only open when its Edict is done. The finale is a two-phase boss battle against a violet-burning wraith king with sweeping blade arcs, a shadow dash, and radial ember bursts.

Combat is fast and readable: eight-way movement, a snappy blade strike with slash trails, and an invulnerable dash that leaves afterimages. Kills drop Essence to raise your Rank — more health, fuller heals — and Embers, the dungeon's currency. Falling costs a tithe of Embers, and the Ascent restores you at the room's threshold.
