Trust no one. Crack everything.
You are the Bureau's best field analyst, and there is a spy inside the room. Three cases take you from a smoky jazz club to a grand casino hotel to the Bureau's own corridors — every one a pressure cooker of alibis, evidence, and a clock that never stops.
Work the room. Break the story. Search the stage wings, pull the ledger, lean on the bartender. Every lead burns hours off the case clock, and every alibi that holds stamps a suspect CLEARED. Dead ends waste the night. When only one name is left standing, that is your spy — point the finger and make the arrest.
Then crack their code. Every case ends at the spy's terminal: a rail-depot keypad assembled from recovered ticket stubs, a brass Caesar wheel that only speaks when the shift is right, and a stamp-substitution cipher you rebuild letter by letter. Three wrong turns and the spy walks.
Smoky noir jazz, surveillance photos, red string, and typewriters — the whole case file comes alive in 1960s ink and brass.
