Pocket Striker

Pocket Striker drops a three a side match onto a dark, floodlit pitch. The frame shows a deep green field ringed by shadowed stands, a goal at the far end and players standing near the centre circle.

The only prompt on screen is a single yellow KICK OFF button, so the match starts with one tap. Beneath it, a control hint spells out the scheme: drag the left side of the screen to move, use the right side to shoot or pass.

The mood is quiet and focused, a night game waiting on the whistle, with the action carried by a small squad rather than a full eleven a side line up.
