City of Anything

City of Anything opens on the road. You sit behind the wheel of a delivery van, a cardboard parcel riding on the passenger seat, as a multi-lane highway stretches straight toward a wide city skyline glowing against a sunset sky.

The skyline ahead is the destination: rows of towers and lower blocks line the horizon, with the setting sun burning between the buildings. Lane markings, streetlight poles and a dashboard map with a winding route guide the way in while the game loads.

A progress bar under the title tracks the trip, so the city arrives as you do. It is a city sandbox built around one place: a big modern metropolis waiting at the end of the highway.
