The Discharged: Ward 13 is a dark, realistic-looking horror game set inside Saint Mercy Hospital, a building that has stood abandoned since 1998.
The main menu opens on the hospital's reception area: a long, worn counter beneath a faded RECEPTION sign, dim ceiling lights cutting through the gloom, and loose papers scattered across a grimy checkered tile floor. The muted palette and heavy shadows set a quiet, oppressive tone before you even begin.
Start a New Game, adjust your Settings, and play with keyboard and mouse. The game itself recommends headphones, so turn the lights down and listen closely.
