Surge Seeker

Surge Seeker drops you into The Heartland as a sturdy armored robot exploring a colorful low-poly landscape of pine forests, grassy hills, snowy peaks and towering glowing monoliths. Your mission is posted right at the top of the screen: Shatter the Blight Spires.

Power comes from the world around you. Walk into glowing energy to collect it, and tall light beams on the horizon mark the big energy cores worth tracking down. Energy comes in three types, each with its own meter: Kinetic, Aural and Wildcard. Every meter is split into three tiers (I, II, III), so the more you gather, the stronger the power you can bring to bear.

A circular minimap shows the terrain around you, points of interest and the purple blighted region, while a health bar keeps you aware of your condition. Swap between energy types with the 1, 2 and 3 keys, pick your route, and charge up before you take on the spires.
