Pokémon Ultimate: Kanto is a fan-made, top-down monster adventure in a classic handheld style. The title screen lines up a row of pixel-art creatures, from winged fliers to small four-legged critters, beneath a bold yellow logo and a single New Game button to start your journey.
Explore the world with keyboard controls modeled on the old-school handheld games. Use the arrow keys or WASD to walk, Z or Space to talk and confirm, X or Esc to back out or open the menu, and Enter to bring up the menu. Hold Shift to run when you want to cover ground faster.
This entry focuses on the Kanto region. It is built as a nostalgic, approachable take on the formula, with crisp outlined sprites and a clean blue interface.
