Paintline GP

Paintline GP is a cel-shaded kart racer that runs in your browser. Line up on the grid against five rivals, Taro, Vex, Juno, Rook and Moxie, and drive Pip through three laps of a sunny coastal circuit lined with palm trees, beach huts and candy-striped curbs.

Hold Space while steering to drift through the corners. Keep an eye on the item slot at the top of the screen, which is triggered with E. The HUD tracks your race position, the live standings, your lap count, your race time and your speed in km/h. A minimap in the corner traces the full looping track so you can see what is coming.

The whole game is generated in code with Three.js. That includes the karts, drivers, textures, music and sound effects. There are no asset files, just bold outlines, flat colors and a warm sunset sky.
