NEON//GRID is a cyberpunk city simulation rendered completely in colored text glyphs. Bracket windows, block towers, slashed transit lanes and caret rooftops pack a dense grid where vehicles and aerodynes move between districts and every citizen is tracked by the simulation.
Switch between Metropolis, District and Street zoom levels. Overlay Natural, Economy, Power, Traffic and Crime layers to read the city at a glance, and keep an eye on the live City Telemetry panel: citizens working, sleeping, commuting or out at night, vehicle and AV counts, jams, average stress and grid load.
Click any glyph, whether a building, vehicle, aerodyne, citizen, road or whole sector, to lock its live telemetry in the Inspector. Control the clock with pause, step and 1x, 5x or 25x speed. Force clear skies or neon rain, or trigger a grid collapse and restore power to see how the city responds.
The day starts at night with the city grid coming online and most citizens asleep. Let it run and the morning commute begins.
