Kindlewood

Kindlewood is a luminous side-scrolling platformer about carrying the last ember through a sleeping forest. You play as a small, glowing spark whose light spills warmly across the grass as you move, set against layered silhouettes of trees and a dusky blue sky.

Your journey begins in Dawnmeadow, in the opening level First Light. Floating motes of light drift among the tall grass and ferns, waiting to be collected. A counter tracks how many you have found out of each level's total, and a row of flame icons shows how much of your ember remains.

Controls are simple: move with the arrow keys or A and D. Sound and pause buttons sit in the corner, and the elegant serif titles and soft parallax layers give each step a quiet, storybook atmosphere.
