Fimbulwinter: Echoes of the Nine is a browser survival game that opens on the Primordial Cliff, a small snow-covered rock platform floating in a white, misty void. A blackened Great Tree rises from its center, glowing with cold blue light. A campfire burns at its roots, a blue-lit object encased in ice rests nearby, and a narrow ice bridge stretches toward jagged grey peaks. A faint emerald glow seeps through the overcast sky.
Every session starts in the shared lobby of the shard "Предел девяти" (Limit of the Nine). Ten slots fill with Drengrs, and the session begins only when all ten have pressed Готово (Ready). The scene stays visible behind the ready panel, so you can see the cliff where you are about to wake.
Once you are in, play uses WASD movement, the left mouse button to strike, and keys for interaction, belt items and skills. The interface is in Russian.
