The dice are cast the moment you pick a tale. FATESPINNER is a retro pixel-art dungeon crawler where a wry Dungeon Master narrates your descent — every floor, every chest, every blunder. Choose a short campaign in a drowned city or a long campaign across a broken continent, then carve your way down through torch-lit crypts, cisterns, sunken forges and the throne below.

Crossroads that change who you are. Between floors the DM deals story events with real teeth: kneel to whispering idols, gamble with mouthless strangers, carry a dying ember in your hands. Risky choices roll a d20 against the odds — and the outcomes rewrite your hero permanently. Blessings and curses stack into visible mutations: ember-touched skin, frostbound auras, titles the deep gives you whether you want them or not. A cast of procedurally generated companions — quartermasters, priests, fortune-tellers — remembers what you did to them, and their fates follow you through the Adventure Log.

Fight like the story needs you to. Melee arcs, i-frame rolls, crits, lifesteal and spirit companions battle skeletons, ghouls, wolves, mummies and things that shoot back. Gold buys rites at shrines, keys open vaults, whetstones bite deeper. Every campaign ends at a boss with phases — and when the tale closes, you weave the next cycle: harder floors, a fresh cast, the same dice. The deep is patient. You are not.
