Chronicles of Aethra is a browser fantasy RPG built around idle progression. Your adventurer, Aren, starts at level 1 with a full HP bar, an empty XP bar, a small purse of gold, a reserve of Energy, and a few potions, all tracked in the top bar.
In the Training Yard, an illustrated sunset field lined with a wooden fence and straw training dummies, you choose one attribute to train: Attack raises strike damage, Defense reduces damage taken and adds max HP, Hit improves the chance to land blows and crit, and Dodge improves evasion and turn speed. Each attribute shows its current value, its trained level, and a timer to the next level.
Training runs on real time and keeps going while you are away. Partial progress already counts toward your stats, so even a short session pays off. Spend Energy on a boost to push training forward by ten minutes when you want faster gains.
A dark interface with gold accents frames full-body anime artwork, with quick buttons to return to the City or view your Hero.
