Check-In After Midnight is a first-person atmospheric night-shift game set in the lobby of The Pines Motor Lodge. The clock reads 12:00 AM, the lights hum warm amber overhead, and you are the one keeping the place open until morning.
The lobby is quiet and dim: stained ceiling tiles, a few glowing fixtures, a tiled floor and a worn couch along the wall. A wall of glass looks out on a rain-soaked parking lot, where a lone car sits with its taillights glowing red under a single streetlamp. Off to one side, a sign points toward rooms 201-204.
Walk the lobby, listen to the storm against the windows and watch the lot for whatever pulls in next. Out here, the night is long, and nobody else is awake.
