Wax & Gravity

Wax & Gravity is a 3D skateboarding game set in a sun-baked park with a pool, a halfpipe and a lot of coping, framed by palm trees and pastel walls. Each session starts with 1:30 on the clock. Land tricks, chain them into combos and clear goals to keep the session going.

The controls are all on the keyboard. W pushes (and pumps on ramps), S brakes, and A/D carve on the ground, spin in the air and balance on rails. Hold Space to crouch and release to ollie. J, K and L throw a kickflip, heelflip and shove-it, and holding I (or Shift) grabs the board.

The physics run on real numbers: 9.81 m/s² gravity, urethane grip, rolling resistance and air drag. Land with the board under you and pointed where you're going. Come down sideways or mid-flip and you slam.
