Verdant Oath places you behind Aerun, a winged forest guardian, in a stylized 3D wilderness of towering trees, glowing crystals, grassy clearings, and winding water. Pale green wings frame the view toward the great tree at the Heartwood.

The opening chapter, The Awakening, sets your task: keep the wild alive as the Iron Crown comes for the heartwood. Your quest calls for awakening three forest shrines, with Whispering Grove marked as a nearby destination.
