Two Hearths is a free simulation game made with AI by @andrei93lefty, and you can play it right here in your browser.
Two Hearths is a quiet isometric settlement sim set in a tiny clearing hacked out of dark forest. Eleven people live in two thatched longhouses, with oxen grazing nearby, fenced plots and woodpiles. It is late autumn under grey skies, and every log of firewood, sack of grain and bucket of water counts toward getting through the cold.
You do not command an army or build a town. You watch, and step in when needed. Click a person or their portrait to learn who they are, where they sleep, what they own and what they are thinking. With someone selected, click the ground to send them somewhere, or click a place and choose a task for them. Buildings, fields, charms and strange things can all be inspected.
Keep an eye on the stores along the top of the screen: Firewood, Grain, Food, Water, Ale and Wool. Lift the roofs with R to see the beds and hearths inside, follow a villager with F, and run time at 1x, 3x or 10x, or pause with Space. A running journal records the days, starting before dawn with frost on the thatch and the hearths banked low.
Move with WASD, arrow keys or by dragging, zoom with the mouse wheel, and set the weather to come as it will.
