You wake on the forest floor with a pistol that is almost empty and no memory of how you got there. Far to the east, a pale green light burns through the fog — an evacuation checkpoint. It is one mile away. The dead own everything between here and there.

The Last Mile is a tense third-person survival horror walk through one dark, fog-drowned pine forest. Zombies hunt by sight and sound: they hear you sprint, they hear every gunshot, and they investigate anything out of place. Crouch through the bushes, freeze behind fallen trunks, pick your moments — or go loud and deal with everything that comes. Killing is a choice, not a chore; sometimes the smarter move is to slip past the whole pack.

Difficulty is the road itself. Early stretches are sparse and slow. The closer you get to safety, the faster, tougher and more numerous the dead become — until the final approach turns into a running gauntlet with hunters pouring in from every direction. Along the route you'll search fallen bodies and abandoned supply crates for ammunition, medkits, grenades, and progressively heavier firepower: pistol, shotgun, assault rifle, sniper rifle, then grenades.
