About
Stick Volley is a spectator sports sim. Press Start Match and watch two teams of stick figures, Magenta and Red, compete on a long wooden court. No controller needed: sit back and follow the action from a fixed side view that shows the whole arena at once.
Each side fields seven players. A goalie stands on a tall gray platform in front of the goal, five numbered players line the floor, and an attacker faces off with the opposing attacker at the central pole. Goals with black posts sit near each end wall, with sagging ropes strung behind them.
The rules are simple and on screen: first to 3 goals wins. If the ball hits the rope behind a goal, it is out and that team's D2 restarts play. If the ball lands in a team's own striped D6 zone, it is a turnover. A live scoreboard tracks the match, and a speed control shows the current playback rate.
