Shadow Ascent: Northern Legends is a 2.5D side-scrolling action game set on a snow-drowned castle bridge under a pale moon. You are the Knight Heroine — dark fur-trimmed plate, a glowing Valyrian steel longsword, and a hundred floors of undead between you and the dawn.

Climb the hundred floors

Every floor of the northern keep is a battle: clear all walkers from the span, break through the heavy iron gate, and ascend. Enemy hordes grow floor by floor — two shamblers at the gateway become a boiling horde by the hundredth floor, each strike hitting harder than the last. Every tenth floor, a Giant Ice Fiend awakens with ground-shattering slams that only a well-timed jump can escape.

Powers of the old blood

Clear a gate and the keep rewards you. Shadow Dash blinks you through the horde in a trail of frost mist. Frost Blade hurls crescents of ice down the bridge. Dragonfire Blast erupts in a fiery ground slam. Winter Storm calls a whirling tempest of frost-lightning, and Spectral Guard raises glowing oath-knights to fight at your side.

Built for touch, tuned for cold

A frost-blue virtual stick drives every step, crouch and leap; a heavy greatsword button and a row of power sigils sit under your thumb. Crouch beneath frost arrows, cut down axemen in three-hit combos, and catch drifting soul wisps to keep your health bar alive. Snow falls, torches burn, and the long night waits.
