Rustblade is a retro-style action platformer set deep in the cogwork ruins — a forgotten machine city slowly being swallowed by vines, rust and dusk.

You play a scrappy scavenger with a sword on her back and an energy pistol on her hip. Run, jump and fight through five hand-built sectors: patrol robots that charge on sight, sentry turrets that spit energy bolts, spike traps, bottomless gaps and locked portcullis gates between you and each sector's elevator.

Every sector is a small puzzle-box. Shove wooden and steel crates onto pressure plates, flip wall levers with your blade or your hands, and chain switches to gates to carve your way forward. Collect spinning gear coins, health and ammo cells, and grab the brass key chips that open the final doors.

• Sword, gun and jump — slash up close or spend ammo cells on precise shots; coyote-time jumps, mid-air strikes and satisfying knockback
• Switches and movable objects — pressure plates that stay pressed only while weighted, latching levers, and crates you push or abandon mid-puzzle
