Posting: Iron Budget puts you in charge of a military base seen from above, laid out on a clean, painted 2D map. A crossroads of paved highway cuts through the compound, and the surrounding forest frames the dirt lots where your base takes shape.
Your job is to build a military base on a shoestring. Click to place and select structures across the grounds: a headquarters, barracks, a medical building marked with a red cross, a supply depot stacked with crates, fuel tanks, a large hangar, a motor pool, a dome installation and a helipad. Armored vehicles roll along the base roads between them.
Hit your objectives to earn grants that let you keep building. When war comes, you command your troops.
Controls are simple: click to build and select, drag or use WASD to pan, scroll the mouse wheel to zoom, and press Space to pause. When you are ready, press Begin service to take up your posting.
