Morrowvale: The Living Marches opens at dusk, under a violet sky above a dark line of pine trees. A warm parchment panel invites you to create your traveller before your journey begins.
Name your character, then pick from four skin tones, six hair colours, four hair styles (Short, Long, Bun and Cropped) and four outfit colours. A live pixel-art portrait updates beside the options, so you can see your traveller take shape as you choose.
When you are happy with your look, press Arrive at Lanterncross. You arrive on foot along the old Meridian Road, carrying little more than a pack and a letter of welcome.
