Everything people lose becomes part of the world.
Bellweather City looks normal by day. At dusk the lamps come on, and the things people lost — umbrellas, toys, keys, photographs — start waiting to be found. You are a Finder: take your scanner off the Registrar's desk, step into the streets, and sweep for whatever the city is holding onto tonight.
Most of what you find is exactly what it looks like: a glove, a cassette, a rubber duck with stories to tell. But some objects read strange on the scanner. A red umbrella that leans toward the rain. A music box that plays a different melody in every district. A photograph that develops one more second of its scene every time you discover a new place. And somewhere out there are objects the catalog files under Impossible — a pocket watch that stops time for exactly three seconds — because there is no better word.
Follow the clues, not the minimap: wet footprints lead to doors that don't exist in daylight, receipts signed B.W. turn up where they shouldn't, and the night itself has stages — Dusk, Early Night, Midnight, Late Night, and a Final Hour you will feel before you understand it. Keep your nerve up, return your finds at the Hub for Sparks, unlock stranger neighborhoods, and log every discovery in your Finder's Catalog — silhouettes and question marks included. Bring friends: up to four Finders can share one city, race the same clues, and witness each other's wait, what is THAT? moments live.
