Jewels Pops opens on a calm, painted archipelago: floating islands topped with copper-ribbed glass domes full of little flowers drift above a turquoise lagoon, while glass wind chimes hang at the edges of an apricot sunset sky. The subtitle sets the scene: Les jardins de verre flottants, the floating glass gardens.
The game is a match-3 puzzle built around six distinctly shaped gems, each recognizable by silhouette as well as color: a coral triangle, an amber hexagon, a turquoise drop, a blue diamond, a violet crescent and an ivory flower-star.
The interface is simple and friendly, with a large rounded Jouer button to start and a Réglages button for settings. The game is in French.
