You wake on the cold stone floor of Hollowmoor Manor with no memory and one goal: get out.

Every door is locked and every key is guarded. Slip through five candlelit rooms — a servants' hall, a sprawling library, a grand ballroom, the master bedroom, and the entrance hall — while the manor's residents walk their endless rounds. The Butler, the Lady in White, the hulking Groundskeeper, the Widow: they only see what is in front of them, and they never stop patrolling.

• Stay low. Crouch to move in silence — sprint and they will hear you.
• Break the line of sight. Furniture, walls, and closed doors all block their gaze.
• Vanish. Old wardrobes will hide you... but they hear the doors.

An eye above your head shows how close you are to being noticed, and your heartbeat tells you how close they are. Get caught and the manor keeps you, casting you back to the room where it happened. Steal all four keys, unlock the front door, and step into the storm.
