You wake on the porch of a condemned grand hotel with no memory of arriving. The front doors swing open on their own... and chain themselves behind you. Thirteen guests stayed the night of the fire. The proprietor decided nobody would ever leave. Now the hotel wants you to stay too.

Explore a doomed hotel with a story in its walls. Read nine letters, diaries and reports left behind by the damned — a maid's letter home, a guest's guilty diary, the fire marshal's final report — and piece together what happened on New Year's Eve, 1934. Find the brass keys, restore the cellar power, and release the bolts on the front doors.

Three ghosts keep the halls. Ivy, the proprietor's daughter, glides the corridors — freeze her with your camera's flash if she gets close. Elias chained those doors in life; in the basement, he is still keeping them shut. And sometimes, at the end of a corridor, the maid appears... and is gone.

Two endings. Escape the Hollow Hearth — or find Ivy's locket in the cold fireplace and give the hotel's smallest ghost her goodbye.
