HERO//BREAK

Welcome to Aster Academy, where teen heroes train, compete, and climb the pro rankings — and where every fight is televised. HERO//BREAK is a shonen anime fighting game about eight first-year students and the Gifts that make them dangerous.

Play as Jace "Backlash" Hayes, the kid with the punching-bag power: every hit he takes, he stores — and gives back with interest. Face his rival Damien "Overdrive" Cross, a super-speed rushdown prodigy, plus six more first-years with their own Gifts, specials, and cinematic BREAK supers.

Game Modes

• Arcade — a 7-opponent ladder ending in your personal rival, with the difficulty climbing every rung
• Versus — local 2-player on one keyboard (or two gamepads)
• Versus AI — five difficulty tiers from Easy to Nightmare
• Training — a configurable dummy and infinite health to lab your combos

Fight Your Way

Walk, dash, jump, and crouch through a real fighting-game moveset: light and heavy attacks, Gift specials, grabs, blocking, a fresh-block parry, launchers and air juggles. Take hits to build your BREAK meter, then spend it on a cinematic super — camera zoom, voice line, and a finisher worthy of the highlight reel.
