Brinewake

Brinewake is a first-person pirate sandbox set on the Shimmering Sea. Take the helm of your own sloop, follow X-marked maps from isle to isle, dig up buried gold, and carry it home before skeleton crews, storms and the Deepjaw send you to the Locker.

Sailing is hands-on: steer with A/D, lower or raise sails with W/S, and trim with Q/E. Keep the wind at your back for speed. When holes open in the hull, the hold starts to flood, so patch the leaks with planks and bail the water out with a bucket.

On foot you can walk, sprint, jump and swim, and cycle through a kit of cutlass, pistol, shovel, bucket, planks, bananas, spyglass, lantern and concertina. Click to use an item, right-click to aim or block, and press E to interact, pick things up or take a station aboard ship. Press M to open the world map and plan your voyages.

With 22 isles to plunder and 30,000 gold standing between you and Legend status, every trip out from the dock is a gamble against the sea.
