VEILBORN

VEILBORN opens at the forge, where you choose the Veil that answers you, and the choice cannot be changed. Four Veils are on offer, each with its own glow, playstyle summary, and stat bars for Toughness, Damage, Control, and Mobility.

• Aegis, the Shield-Veil: hard-light domes, barriers, and reflection. A forgiving, durable frontline guardian.
• Edge, the Blade-Veil: blades of living light, phantom lunges, and relentless combos. An agile duelist with high risk and the highest reward.
• Storm, the Tempest-Veil: lightning that leaps from foe to foe and detonates the crowd. A ranged caster that devastates hordes.
• Tether, the Chain-Veil: hooked chains and raw gravity to drag, root, and crush enemies. A battlefield controller that can grapple across gaps.

Name your hero and pick a cloak, with two styles available at the start and more locked away to be earned.

Every life matters here. With permadeath, a fallen hero is gone forever and carved into the Wall of Echoes. Only a Phoenix Core can cheat death, and only once.
