Who were you, before the moons fell?
You are The Wanderer, a lone cloaked figure standing on The Waystone Cliffs of the Kingdom of Souls. Above you hang a cratered moon, a ringed pink planet and a green world in a star-filled violet sky. Ahead, past crumbling stone pillars and glowing magenta braziers, a neon castle spire burns on the horizon. Your first task: cross the candlelit bridge into the Dead Wood.
Combat is real-time and third-person. Click to swing your blade, right-click or press Q to fire a soul bolt, and press Space to dodge roll. Moonfall, bound to R, unlocks at level 3. Move with WASD, sprint with Shift and look around with the mouse. Track your health, mana and experience as you level up, and collect the Moon Shards counted in the corner of your screen.
Built with chunky low-poly shapes, low-res pixelated textures, dithering and haze, Moons Over Yavareth recreates the eerie, nostalgic feel of an old-console fantasy remembered through a neon dream.
