RAT SOULS is a third-person dark fantasy action RPG starring a small humanoid rat with a long pink tail, dwarfed by a world of towering tree trunks, crumbling stone pillars, and flowers as tall as he is.
Your journey begins in The Rotting Glade, a hazy clearing washed in warm, fog-filtered light. Giant violet blossoms rise from the dirt, moss-covered boulders ring the edges, and broken stone slabs and weathered columns hint at an older civilization that once stood here. The environments are hand-painted 3D with visible brushstroke textures, soft atmospheric haze, and a melancholy, dreamlike mood.
A Soulslike HUD keeps you focused on survival: track your health, stamina, and magic bars at the top of the screen. Two quick slots sit below, a glowing orange consumable with limited charges on R and a violet crystal ability on C.
Step into the glade, follow the light through the fog, and see what waits among the ruins.
