概要
The Backrooms Tapes is a first-person browser exploration game presented as found footage. The whole view is framed by a vintage camcorder display: a blinking REC indicator, a running SP tape counter, a battery meter, and a timestamp that reads Oct. 30, 1996, 11:47 PM.
You move through tight, monotonous rooms of mono-yellow striped wallpaper, stained drop-ceiling tiles, and worn brown carpet. Every corner looks like the last one, and faint scanline noise rolls across the image like an old tape that has been played too many times.
A RUN button sits in the corner of the screen, ready for touch play. Keep the tape rolling, keep walking, and see how far into the yellow you are willing to go.
