Build a poker hand, break the bank, and let 66 unhinged Jokers do the rest.

Every hand is a chance to break the game.
Joker's Ruin is a poker roguelike. You get eight cards, five slots and a target score. Play a pair, a flush, a full house — then watch your Jokers pile on. Chips stack. Multipliers double. The table shakes, the numbers turn gold, then orange, then red. Somewhere around your fourth run you will accidentally build a machine that scores two hundred thousand off five cards, and you will not be able to stop.
Sixty-six Jokers, and they all want to help. A melting ice cream cone that slowly forgets how to count. A press photographer whose flashbulb doubles your first face card. A pipsqueak who makes your twos and threes worth more than your kings. A blueprint that copies whatever sits beside it — so where you put a Joker matters as much as which one you bought. Stack the right three and the numbers stop making sense. Every one you meet is kept forever in your collection, so even a run that ends badly leaves something behind. Sell one back whenever you like; a full rack is a choice, not a wall.
Rebuild the deck itself between rounds. Tarot cards turn ordinary cards to gold, glass or steel. Planet cards permanently level up any of the twelve poker hands. Spectral cards ask for something in return — burn away three quarters of your deck so every draw is the suit you wanted, or converge every rank until a Flush Five stops being a rumour. Fifty-two cards is where you start, not what you have to keep.
Or skip the fight entirely. Walk away from a blind and you take a Reward Tag instead of its money: free stock, a fistful of Planets, an edition on your next Joker, or the one thing no shop will ever sell you — another seat in your rack. Nineteen tags, and the good ones are the rare ones.
Nineteen Boss Blinds, and each one takes something away. One debuffs your best suit. One steals your discards. One deals your cards face down. One caps how many you may play. One darkens every card you own until you sell a Joker to lift it. Five more wait at the final ante, asking for two, three, four times a normal score.
Eight antes. Eight stakes. No safety net. Six starting decks, each one rewriting how a run begins — one triples how often you flush, one makes four-of-a-kind fourteen times likelier. Clear a deck and it unlocks a harder stake, all the way to the eighth. Win and endless mode is waiting. Lose and the game tells you exactly how close you came, what to try instead, and offers to deal that same shuffle again.
