BLACKOUT is a first-person horror micro-game set in a single cramped, decrepit room. Stained, peeling wallpaper closes in on all sides, one bare bulb hangs from the ceiling, and old furniture crowds the space: a dresser with a framed picture and a small candle, a chair, a table, and loose papers scattered across the floor.
Your only real tool is the flashlight in your hand, and it is not a reliable one. A LIGHT meter in the corner tracks its charge, and the rule is simple: walking drains your light, and standing still lets it recover. Every step you take to search or reposition costs you, so the question is always whether moving is worth it.
A timer at the top of the screen counts up as you hold on. Keep the beam alive, watch the shadows, and survive the clock in a room that feels smaller with every passing second.
Built as a tight, minimalist game-jam base: near-black shadows, flashlight-lit grime, and one small space designed to be modded.
