Wildline is a first-person survival shooter set in a remote mountain forest, ringed by jagged grey peaks and dense stands of pine. You head out from camp with a scoped bolt-action rifle and a canteen while your squad of five, Mara, Jonah, Elias, Kit and Rosa, holds the camp behind you.
The days are built around supply runs. Pick berries, gather firewood and hunt, filling a 30-slot pack that empties into the camp stores when you return. Those stores track Food, Water, Wood and Scrap, so you always know what the group has and what it still needs.
Your own body needs looking after too. Separate Health, Food, Water and Warmth bars keep the pressure on, and every round counts when a bolt rifle holds only a few shots at a time. A heading compass with a camp marker helps you find your way back through the trees, and a day counter and clock keep the hours moving.
Start on Day 1 with a rifle, a full canteen and modest supplies, and see how long you can keep everyone fed, watered and warm.
