Ashford: The Greywold is a skill-based fantasy RPG set in a medieval town of cobbled squares and timber-framed houses. You start as an Adventurer with 100 health, 40 mana, 40 gold, and 40 arrows, a plain sword at your side and every skill at zero.
There are no levels to grind: your abilities grow through use. Land sword hits to raise Swordsmanship, fire straight arrows to raise Archery, and push each skill from 0 toward 100. Swap between sword and bow from the hotbar, cast Heal when the fight turns against you, and keep an eye on the minimap to find your way around town.
Ashford offers three paths from the start: visit the weaponsmith on the square to sharpen your blade, head into the northern hills to seek the gray wolf, or venture through the east gate into the crypt. Taming and wolf commands wait on your hotbar, locked until you earn a companion of your own.
