Red Acre

Red Acre is a third-person western ride through dusty frontier country. You play a cowboy in a blue shirt and suspenders, mounted on a palomino horse, with one clear job: get your horse to the Red Acre livery stable before the sun goes down.

Follow the dirt trail along the rim of a canyon lined with layered red and orange rock, past dry grass, scrubby trees, wooden signposts and leaning telegraph poles. A town of barns and weathered buildings sits off in the distance. A compass bar across the top of the screen and an objective panel with a live distance counter keep you pointed toward the stable.

Riding is simple: W A S D to ride and steer, Shift to gallop, E to dismount or mount up, and hold Space to soothe your horse. A gauge in the corner shows your pace, from a standstill upward, alongside a Nerve reading for your mount, so keeping your horse calm is part of the journey.
