Monomyth is a browser adventure built around the hero's journey. You start on a low-poly meadow ringed by rocky cliffs and autumn trees, where a stone-paved plaza sits at the heart of a quiet valley lit by glowing lantern posts.
The world is dotted with things to find: a wooden treasure chest, a market stall under a blue awning, signposts pointing down winding stepping-stone paths, and pale, ghostly figures standing in the plaza. On the horizon, a dark tower rises from a ring of ruined stone, crowned by a swirling violet halo that hints at where the road ultimately leads.
Press Begin the Journey to step into the role of the hero and set out from the plaza. The game's premise is that your path is shaped by how you choose to walk it.
