EIMI: The Olive Branch Challenge

Step into a sunny Ancient Greek ruin as a young hero wearing a golden laurel wreath. Your only tool is an olive branch: no weapons, no enemies, just floating stone tablets carved with Ancient Greek words. Line up the crosshair, hold on a word, and release to strike.

Your goal is to learn the present tense of εἰμί ("to be"). A conjugation chart at the bottom of the screen lays out the singular and plural slots, from I am to they are. εἰμί (I am) is already filled in, and the rest start as question marks waiting for you to find the right forms. The tablets show real Greek text with accents and breathing marks, like εἶ and εἰσί(ν), so read carefully before you strike.

The HUD tracks your score, your level, how many forms you have found, and three lives shown as hearts. The setting is bright and friendly: marble columns, a Greek temple, olive and cypress trees, a stone owl statue, a painted vase, and distant mountains under a clear blue sky.
