Dapit-Hapon is a third-person survival horror game set in a remote rural barrio in the Philippines. Midnight has fallen, rain is pouring over the nipa huts and palm trees, and something is moving between the houses. Your job is simple and terrifying: last until sunrise.
The night is counted in hours, starting at 12:00 AM and running through six hours to dawn. You carry an oil lamp that pushes back the dark, but its fuel is tracked on its own meter, so every moment of light has a cost. Health and stamina bars sit alongside it, and running low on any of them leaves you exposed.
You face the dark with an itak (bolo) in hand and a small kit of folk remedies drawn from Filipino tradition: salt, garlic, and herbs, each mapped to its own key for quick use. Supplies are scarce, so knowing when to use them matters as much as having them.
Wander the muddy paths between huts with glowing windows, watch the mist roll across the fields, and listen closely. The barrio is quiet, but you are not alone out here.
