Ashes of the Pantheon casts you as a god who has turned against his own divine family. Your climb begins on a weathered stone terrace above a grey, rain-swept sea. Broken pillars and stone archways stand around you, and floating islands crowned with temples drift through the golden haze overhead.
The archways glow with shimmering portals of blue, white and red light. A colossal trident juts from the clouds, a waterfall pours from a floating ruin, and a firelit brazier flickers against the storm. The world is rendered in detailed, realistic 3D with heavy rain, haze and long shadows.
Fight and climb with third-person controls: WASD to move, mouse to look, left click for light attacks, right click for heavy attacks, Shift to dodge, Space to jump and climb, 1, 2, 3 for god powers and E to interact.
The tone is solemn and mythic: quiet ruins, a drowned horizon and a throne waiting somewhere above the clouds.
